I have a home built in the 80’s with a chimney and vented gas fireplace. How do I make sure that the chimney is safe to burn wood?

Hi Gary,
Great question! The best way to ensure your fireplace and chimney are safe for use is to have them inspected by a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep. You can find one in your area by typing in your zip code at http://www.csia.org/search.
