Plainfield, IN- The Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) Technology Center has been chosen by the Association for Career and Technology Education (ACTE) as one of seven regional tour locations during the ACTE Region III Conference held in Indianapolis June 21-23, 2017. Other tour locations offered to event attendees include Eli Lilly, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, and The Indianapolis Star.
“CSIA is the only teaching facility of this sort in all of North America and it is in our own backyard. We were very happy to form this partnership to offer this tour to teachers from 11 states visiting Indianapolis as part of this regional conference,” stated Dena Irwin of the Indiana Department of Education and member of the ACTE planning committee.
Frances Kelly, CSIA’s Executive Director, stated, “CSIA has been the leading provider of chimney and venting education for more than thirty years and we are incredibly honored to open our Technology Center to ACTE members who are interested in learning more about our industry, the educational offerings we provide, and our nationally recognized certifications.”
