We have talked a lot on this blog about using a CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician® so that you don’t let your home become a headline.
You may be wondering – how does one become certified?
Glad you asked.
CSIA has been offering dryer vent education for a decade, and we are offering a refreshed course with an updated curriculum. Newcomers and those who will be needing re-certification should consider attending the CSIA Certified Dyer Exhaust Technician® Review/Exam Nov. 6-7, at the CSIA Technology Center in Plainfield, IN.
It’s now two full days, instead of one, and one of those days will be spent entirely with hands-on training. Participants will get to reroute ducts, drill through drywall/structures, and problem-solve in a unique environment.
“Our training provides the technician with the most important traits in the industry – confidence, competence, and consistency,” says Ashley Eldridge, CSIA Director of Education. “Two days of training boosts your business for three years.”
*If you’ve been doing homeowner dryer vent service, we can teach you how to expand that service to handle commercial work.
*If you’ve been doing homeowner dryer vent service and want to make sure that your methods are optimal, this can add to your level of expertise and comfort.
*If you are a chimney service and don’t do dryer vent work, here’s an opportunity to get into that business –- and that’s important, particularly in the slower summer months, since venting the dryer is a year-round requirement in homeowners’ minds — and rightfully so!
Our CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician® Review/Exam, Nov. 6-7, at the CSIA Technology Center in Indianapolis, IN is the last one offered until March 18 in Columbus, OH. Slots are filling fast.
“Not only will this keep you in good standing while providing you with detailed training and re-certification, we will provide you with tips to help you aggressively market the C-DET credential to help you build your business and creating long-term revenue streams,” says Deborah Cornelius, CSIA Professional Development Coordinator.
